Year 1

Welcome to the Year 1 Home Learning Page.

We are excited to launch this resource which supports our current offer for home learning.
This platform provides a space whereby staff can share additional resources and information relating to your child’s current learning, ideas to support learning at home and specific year group information.
We hope you find this a useful hub of information, enabling us to work in partnership to secure the very best outcomes for your child.
Please note that communication with your class teacher and the school should remain via the year group email address or the office team.

Progression of Knowledge and Skills

Progression of Knowledge and Skills - Within each subject's 'Progression of Knowledge and Skills' document is detailed the carefully planned, progressive curriculum content to be taught in each year group. Our curriculum model is progressive, teaching the knowledge and skills we have identified and outlined for every subject. The footing of our model is to ensure a focus on the key knowledge and skills for each curriculum subject so that children make progress (‘knowing more, remembering more, being able to do more’) and therefore learn (‘a change in long-term memory’).  These can be found on each of the subject pages.
