Enlighten Learning Trust

Welcome to Enlighten Learning Trust (ELT)

Enlighten Learning Trust (ELT) is a growing family of schools committed to improving outcomes for children through strong collaboration and shared support. We have a proven track record of working successfully with schools across all phases and recognise the positive impact this collective approach has on pupils, staff and communities.

While we work closely together, we are clear that collaboration should not diminish the individuality of each school. In line with the Trust’s statutory framework and governance arrangements, as published on the ELT website, schools retain their unique identity while benefiting from shared expertise, services and school‑to‑school support. This balance enables us to respect local context while strengthening practice across the Trust.

Through collaborative working, underpinned by the development of highly effective teachers and leaders, ELT aims to ensure every school provides an excellent educational experience for all pupils and maintains a strong commitment to its wider community.

Further information about Enlighten Learning Trust, including statutory documents, annual reports and accounts, executive pay and trustee information, can be found on the ELT Statutory Documents page.

Joining Learning Partners Academy Trust

From January 2027, St Martin’s School will become part of Learning Partners Academy Trust. Learning Partners is a collaborative Multi Academy Trust built on partnership, with a shared commitment to helping children thrive through high-quality education, strong school improvement and meaningful collaboration between schools. The Trust's vision is centred on creating a love of learning and achieving more through working together, whilst allowing each school to retain its own unique identity and place within the local community. As we prepare for this transition, families may begin to notice some changes to policies, branding and documentation as Trust-wide systems and approaches are gradually adopted. We are excited about the opportunities this partnership will bring for our pupils, staff and wider school community.
